MY PHILOSOPHY

I see the practice of yoga as one of my main pathways to contentment and peace. My background as a modern dancer inspires me to teach grace, playful movement, and the belief in authentic self-expression within one’s practice. I believe that yoga is a personal journey and I encourage students to explore their inner-voice and cultivate silence. Also, I hold a safe place for individuals to empower themselves to be free and have fun.

In my Restorative Yoga class, I foster deep releases and openness through supported postures and gentle massage. In my Prenatal class, I encourage students to listen to their intuition. I use hands-on assists and that create a nurturing, supportive atmosphere to encourage mindfulness and surrender; all the while, I reinforce the unity of breath and alignment.
